Abstract
Social networks are currently used to communicate and express emotions, millennial parents do so through posts or photos on platforms such as: facebook, instagram, or whatsapp, there is talk of a possible risk when the image is of a delicate nature and involves minors and they are overexposed. This research aimed to identify the practice of sharenting (overexposure of children in social networks) in university mothers. The study was descriptive and exploratory, it was carried out with a population of 54 university mothers. The applied methodology was quantitative, an instrument was designed with its respective scale that allowed measuring the practice of sharenting. The construct was validated through the expert judgment method, Cronbach's alpha reliability was 0.87. The results obtained reflected that the mothers who practice sharenting at a moderate and high level were between 20 and 30 years old, the most used networks are facebook and whatsapp, the factors that motivate this practice are positive comments in publications, recognition and the satisfaction produced by mothers when showing their children.
